For over 30 years, Cynthia Hovind has travelled with camera in hand, photographing her adventures across the United States, Europe, Mexico, the South Pacific, and Asia.
In 1972, her family travelled to Norway to meet her father's family. It was then that her love for travel and photography began. Future adventures included driving north to Alaska in the middle of winter, whitewater rafting on the Colorado River, and trekking across the ancient lands of the Lower Mustang region in Nepal.
Cynthia captures all her adventures on film, slides, and more recently, digital. Since starting Terra Dolce Photography in 2002, Cynthia has travelled to Guatemala, Copper Canyon, Hong Kong, Italy, Nepal, Myanmar (Burma) with an openness that allows her to capture her unique travel experiences.
Cynthia resides in Portland, Oregon, and continues to renew her spirit annually, as she sets off for new destinations and new discoveries.
